WASTE ENERGY & THE FUTURE

GridImagegarbage1

MISSION

GWE's mission is to turn waste liabilities into Energy Assets. Our goal is to implement the superior C6 Technology to solve the waster disposal and energy generation challenges of communities across the globe.

Our strategy is to pursue projects in the most economically advantageous locations: 1. those that are facing landfill shortages and high tipping fees; 2. have clean energy needs with advantageous electicity rates or clean energy incentives; 3. and that offer convenient waste transportation by rail, road, or barge. We will take advantage of our fully developed C6 Technology to secure first mover posiotion in the market for green electricity. We also intend to license C6 Technology to third party developers.

OVERVIEW

Green Waste Energy (GWE), is developing plants to process trash into a synthetic gas (syngas) that will be used as a fuel for engines to produce electricity.

This is not an incineration system; this is pyrolysis of Btu laden municipal solid waste into a synthetic gas. The GWE solution helps address two major challenges facing the world today:

C6 TECHNOLOGies

GWE C6 plants deploy an advanced process that integrates two proven thermal conversion technologies, autoclaving and pyrolysis, with proprietary waste drying, syngas scrubbing and exhaust clean-up technologies.

The C6 pyrolyzer is an innovative and robust gasification system that is able to efficiently process a wide range of waste materials and output a gas of high calorific value. The gas is then used to power engines, boilers or turbines to create “green” electricity.

VIDEO

This video shows the front end of the “C6 Technology system, demonstrating the autoclaves and the sophisticated classifications system in operation. The autoclaves sterilize all of the waste material and reduce volume by two-thirds. The classification system recovers 98% of the recyclables, separating out glass (by color), metals and plastics – in a clean, de-lacquered and pathogen free state. What remains is a dried cellulose based feed stock ready for the “C6 flash pyrolisis” unit, to be processed into a syn-gas.

PYROLYSIS

What is Pyrolysis?
Pyrolysis is a thermochemical decomposition of material at elevated temperatures in the absence of oxygen (or any halogen). It involves the simultaneous change of chemical composition and physical phase and is irreversible.
